1. Who you are buying from
GoaSynth is developed and published by David Jeremic, Cetinjska 26, 11080 Beograd (Zemun), Serbia ("we", "us"). We supply the software and support it.
Your payment is handled by our reseller and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. That means the contract for the purchase itself — the invoice, the VAT and the payment processing — is concluded with Lemon Squeezy as the seller of record, while the software licence and support come from us. Their terms apply to the checkout process alongside these terms; where the two conflict on payment, tax or invoicing, theirs prevails.
If you are a consumer, the identity and address above are the contact details for any complaint about the product.
2. The product
GoaSynth is a downloadable VST3 instrument for Windows, macOS and Linux. A purchase of the personal licence gives you:
| What | Detail |
|---|---|
| Builds | VST3 plugin for Windows, macOS and Linux (plus AU / AUv3 on macOS and LV2 on Linux), delivered as a ZIP download |
| Contents | 175 factory presets across nine families, all effects, both sequencers, three skins, and the AI patch designer (offline by default, or a cloud engine of your choice using your own API key) |
| Seats | One person, up to three machines you personally use — one licence serial per computer, issued free on request |
| Trial | 24 hours of the full plugin from first launch, before any payment |
| Commercial use | Included: releases, live sets, client work, sample packs, no royalties |
| Updates | All 1.x releases, delivered through the same download page |
| Support | Best-effort email support, target reply within two working days |
| Activation | A licence serial signed for your machine ID, sent as a .goalicense file or a plain serial. No account, no dongle, no online check — the plugin activates offline and stays unlocked |
| Machine ID | Required to issue the licence: a 20-character fingerprint of the machine being licensed, shown on the plugin's activation screen. It is the only machine information we collect — see the Privacy Policy |
| Term | Perpetual for the version you obtained — it does not expire |
We do not sell a physical product and nothing is shipped by post. The product is not a subscription; there is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel.
3. Price, taxes and currency
The price of a personal licence is €15 in euros, payable once. Where value added tax or sales tax applies, the price is inclusive of it — the amount shown at checkout is the total you pay, with no additions at the last step.
Lemon Squeezy determines the tax treatment based on the billing country you enter at checkout, issues the invoice, and remits the tax. If you are a business in the EU with a valid VAT number, reverse charging may apply automatically at checkout.
We may change the price for future orders at any time. A price change never affects a licence you have already bought or a refund of it.
4. How an order is formed
Your order is placed by completing the checkout at Lemon Squeezy. The contract of sale is concluded when the order is confirmed and the download is made available; the confirmation email is your receipt. Until then you may cancel the order at no cost.
Checkout asks for a machine ID, because that is what your licence serial is signed against. If you have not installed the plugin yet and do not have one to hand, complete the checkout anyway and send it to us afterwards — the 24-hour trial runs in the meantime, and your serial follows.
We, or Lemon Squeezy, may decline an order in narrow cases: an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, or a previous unresolved chargeback. If an order is declined after payment, it is refunded in full.
5. Payment
Payment is collected by Lemon Squeezy using the methods offered at checkout — typically credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. We never see or store your card details; the card data goes directly to the payment provider.
6. Delivery
Delivery is digital. Your receipt and download page arrive by email, usually within a minute of payment — there is no shipping cost and no waiting for a parcel.
Your licence serial is signed against the machine ID supplied at checkout and sent to you as
a .goalicense file — normally the same working day, and within one working day at the
latest. Until it arrives, the 24-hour trial already gives you every feature of the plugin, so the
serial is never what stands between you and trying GoaSynth.
- If neither email arrives, check your spam folder and then write to goasynth.orders@gmail.com — we will resend it.
- You can re-download your purchase at any time from the customer page linked in your receipt, so keep that email. We will also re-issue your serial if you lose the file.
- If you change computer, reinstall your operating system or replace hardware, the machine ID changes. Tell us and we will release the old binding and issue a fresh serial at no charge (see §7 of the Licence Agreement).
- If a download link ever stops working, we will provide replacement access at no charge for as long as we sell the plugin, and for a reasonable period after that.
7. Withdrawal and refunds
We give you 14 days to change your mind, unconditionally. That applies whether or not you have already downloaded and started using the plugin, and you do not have to give a reason.
For digital content supplied immediately, EU consumer law normally allows a seller to ask you to waive your statutory right of withdrawal — usually via a checkbox at checkout. We do not ask for that waiver, and we honour the full 14 days regardless. The statutory withdrawal right you already have as an EU consumer is not replaced by this promise; it is just that our own policy is at least as generous.
How to ask, how long the money takes to arrive, and what happens to your licence are all set out in the Refund Policy. A refund ends the licence granted for that order, and we deactivate the serial with it, so it will no longer activate a machine. Statutory rights for defective or misdescribed software are unaffected and last longer than 14 days.
8. The software licence
The software you receive is licensed under the Licence Agreement. The source code is separately published under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0, which permits anyone — including you — to use, modify and redistribute it. Your purchase covers the delivered builds, the preset bank, updates for 1.x and support. It does not make the source code proprietary, and nothing here restricts rights the AGPLv3 already grants you.
9. Availability and updates
We aim to keep the plugin available for purchase and re-download, and to publish updates for the 1.x line. We do not promise unlimited development or support for every future operating system or DAW version. If we discontinue the plugin, we will:
- leave existing builds — and the instructions to install them — available, and
- keep accepting re-download requests at goasynth.support@gmail.com, and
- announce the end of support rather than let it happen quietly.
Because the source is open, discontinuation cannot lock you out: the plugin can always be built from the published code.
10. Your obligations
- Provide accurate checkout information, in particular your billing country, so the correct tax is applied.
- Do not use fraudulent payment methods, and do not file a chargeback for a purchase you have not tried to resolve with us first.
- Do not resell, sublicense or advertise our builds as your own product, and do not use the GoaSynth name or logo for a modified version.
- Do not share your licence serial and do not attempt to defeat the activation or the trial. A serial activates only the machine it was signed for, so sharing it will not work anyway (§7 of the Licence Agreement).
- Supply a machine ID for a computer you are entitled to license — one that you use yourself.
- Comply with the AGPLv3 if you redistribute the software or a modified version.
11. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body or health, and for any other liability that cannot be limited by law. For simple negligence, we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual duties, and only up to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract, capped at the amount you paid for the licence.
We are not liable for lost work, lost project files or lost recordings — keep backups, as you would with any plugin. Nothing in these terms excludes your statutory consumer rights, including your rights if the software is defective.
12. Complaints and dispute resolution
Write to goasynth.support@gmail.com with your order reference. We acknowledge complaints within two working days and aim to resolve them within ten working days.
We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in alternative dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. You can always bring a claim before the competent ordinary courts, and EU consumers may also contact the consumer protection authority in their country of residence.
13. Governing law, language, severability
These terms are governed by the law of Serbia. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may sue us there. The contract language is English.
Should a provision of these terms be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect, and the invalid one is replaced by the statutory rule. We may update these terms for future orders; the version in force at the time of your order applies to it.
